About Jan Of All Trades Productions
Life is filled with loneliness, tragedy, disappointment and struggle......and we think that's hilarious!
In a world where power and success is worshipped Jan Of All Trades Productions honors the invisible people of society and gives them a voice....a loud, tone-deaf one. Through television, film and branded web content our work reveals the humanity in life's craziness, uniting us all through laughter and grace. About Linda GrassoI am the founder of Jan Of All Trades Productions and currently have a romantic comedy, feature film called 'Her American Road Trip' in development. I've recently completed another romantic comedy screenplay which I'm currently pitching to executives.
I am a Groundlings Theatre improv member, have won awards for acting, writing and filmmaking in Australia and USA and also for stand up comedy in Australia. My award winning short films, include ‘My Two Lives’, ‘Wishful Thinking’, ‘Stretching The Friendship’ and 'Jan Of All Trades'. Click on 'Videos' to see my work. These are all self-produced. My recent acting roles include 'Starting From ...Now', a web series where I play Trish Faulkner, a ditzy divorcee and a badass in her graphic design business. It has amassed over 250 million views worldwide, has been watched in more than 230 countries and has won numerous international awards. My spin-off series is called 'Trish's Top Tips' a 'how to' web series about being a single woman of today. Other roles include a comedy film called 'The Brothel' where I play a pristine and educated madam, and a sitcom called ‘Rock Chikz’ where I'm the lead singer of an all female rock band screened at New York’s ‘Mamapalooza’ Festival in USA. My upcoming projects are TV series, 'Desert Dwellers' where I am playing the lead role of Adelaide Fitzpatrick, a neurotic Australian who is fiercely protective of her friends whilst delving deep into the desert's mysteries; and feature film ‘Conundrum’, as the role of Ashling, an eager, yet logical enthusiast involved in the chaotic, criminal Los Angeles Underworld. My theatre performances include Hell Hath Three Furies, a ‘Dinner With A View’ production and also a one-person play, ‘Fruit And Veg’ which I wrote and directed. I have also performed in many more acting roles for television, including commercials and independent films. I'm proficient in Latin American, Rock'n'Roll and Ballroom Dancing also :) |
